2024 Come and See Retreat Invitation

The two disciples heard what he had said and followed Jesus. Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them, "What are you looking for?"  They said to him, "Rabbi" (which translated means teacher), "where are you staying?"  He said  to them, "Come, and you will see."--John 1:37-39

I'm exited to invite you to come and visit Little Portion Hermitage Monastery for a Come and See Retreat weekend!  You will spend time with community members from across the country and learn about our community's way of life.  We will pray together.  Our Founder, John Michael Talbot, and other leaders and longtime community members will teach about the various aspects of our way of life.  We will have times of adoration and silence and conversation.  Come and immerse yourself in the monastic way of life for a few days, and encounter the Lord Jesus in a deeper way!

Our Come and See Retreat begins on Friday, April 12, 2024 with registration at 4:00 pm.  Adoration begins at 5:30, and dinner is served at 6:00.  If you are able to, please arrive by 5:00.

The retreat will end with the evening vigil Mass on Saturday, April 13.  You are welcome to stay over Saturday night, and Sunday is a travel day to return home.
