Novitiate

Novitiate begins when a new member is formally received into the community. A "novice" is simply a "new member" of the community.

Novices make a simple promise to live our way of life for one year. The novitiate can be continued for a second year if needed.

Novitiate is an intense time of prayer, study, living our way of life daily, and participating in the life of the community.
